The Rock Kitty
Kaitlyn Hunter
Our main protagonist is your average teenage girl with shallow insecurities, Kaitlyn Hunter, who after moving to basically the middle of Nowhere, finds herself whisked into the big and glamorous (Kind of!) world of the privileged population of Sandfields. Paranoid and witty with a sharp tongue, Kaitlyn can sometimes be a selfish (If not all the time) person but most (Hopefully!) lovable.
Jayden Stanford
Resident of Sandfields with a status in Sandfields Academy. His bad-boy American mojo is his favourite weapon when it comes to coercing 'Kitty' (Kaitlyn) into doing things, because he knows she gets uncomfortable when he uses the Smirk. As womanizing as he may be, he's actually quite a romantic, a trait which is clearly displayed in his music.
Leon Alexander
Jay's best friend from the UK. Leo's chivalry is unrivaled and his foreign accent makes girls swoon, and he adores regaling tall tales of coming from a thriving noble ancestry. He's as every bit as good looking as his friends, and he knows it. A big brother to a little tween sister; Leo is every little kid's favourite teenager. Leo's a brainy one with the smarts that match adults - sometimes a bit too smart.
Jordan Grayson
The youngest of six sons, Jordan fits the bill of the geek archetype, with his mind constantly on the latest releases of games, his impressive collection of gaming and computing systems, comics and computer intellect. But one catch: He's also got a passion for music. He mostly likes to push the hard work onto other people, preferring to sit back, relax and catch a few rounds of Tekken or Mortal Kombat on his PSP or badgering Kaitlyn to do so.
Tyson Gyles
The only boy in a family of four children - Tyson is inclined to be a bit more sensitive on a girl's point of view, unlike most guys. After all, what guy wouldn't be, with three older sisters with life missions to make the world a more beautiful place? He's always the one that Kaitlyn refuges with from the dangerous testosterone of the other guys of the band.
Lancelot Montague
Dark-haired, fair-skinned with a rare sense of style (As quoted by Kaitlyn). Lance hardly talks, preferring to immerse himself in the world of ink and paper. On the rare times where he does speak, he tends to stun people with his extensive vocabulary and confusing way of putting words together, and not to mention his literature analogies.
Gabriel Lyndon
The stand-in manager of the Lightning Devils, having accepted the helm from Leo. Gabriel is what every girl wants to have: porcelain skin, wavy black hair and a dimpled smile. Despite not knowing a thing about music, Gabriel is an extremely capable person to represent social relations because of his amiability. In fact, it has always been his ambition to be a manager for people in the entertainment industry.
Dashielle Stryker
Better known as Dash. Dash is the bassist and founder of his band Lucifer, a punk-rock genre band with a contract with the Lightning Devil's label, the Sacrosanct Neophytes. Black, black and more black. That's all he ever wears. Dash comes off as obnoxious, self-absorbed with an extremely off-the-charts self-esteem, but is he really what he seems to be?
Chace
Chace with No-Last-Name-Because-It-Is-Too-Business-Like-And-Stuffy is a recurring character in the story, often making dramatic entrances with an over-the-top reaction to Kaitlyn's clothes of the day. A flamboyant man who is comfortable with who he is, Chace is a force of nature to be reckoned with.
Genevieve Hunter
Kaitlyn's younger sister, who is rather short for the average thirteen-year-old girl. A student of Sandfields Academy on a ballet scholarship, her dancing prowess is nothing to be scoffed at. Pretentious (But intelligent), prone to jumping on the bandwagon and naive, these are the qualities that make Kaitlyn a concerned big sister.
Raphaelle 'Elle' Sherwood
Elle is the younger sister of Kaitlyn and Genevieve's mother who has a great love for shoes. Single, young and flighty, Elle adores anything wearable and loves her nieces to little tiny pieces. She is currently housing and looking after the sisters in place of their absent parents.
